Der Einsatz von Fusidinsäure als Hydrogel bei bakterieller Augeninfektion sichert einen verlängerten Kontakt mit dem Konjunktivalsack. Eine zweimal tägliche Anwendung bietet eine genügende Konzentration des Antibiotikums in allen relevanten Geweben des Auges und erhöht die Patienten-Compliance.
