Orbitabodenfrakturen vom „Blow-out”-Typ und Diplopie: Konservative oder chirurgische Behandlung?

Die Behandlung von Orbitabodenfrakturen vom „Blow-out” Typ ist seit langem umstritten. Wir haben 120 Patienten in vier verschiedene Gruppen aufgeteilt, retrospektiv untersucht: „Blow-out”"-Frakturen mit oder ohne Einklemmung der perimuskulären Strukturen; „Blow-out”-Frakturen, die operativ oder konservativ behandelt wurden. Diese vier Gruppen sind untersucht worden, in der Aussicht, ein Behandlungs-schema aufzustellen, das der unterschiedlichen funktionellen Heilungszeiten Rechnung trägt. Eine eher konservative Haltung und die Notwendigkeit, röntgenologische und orthopädische Untersuchungen durchzuführen, werden damit begründet.

Summary

The treatment of orbital fractures, type blow-out, has always been discussed about. One hundred-twenty patients, subdivided in four groups were examinated. Incarceration of the peri-muscular structures or not. Surgical or conservative treatment. These four groups have been studied with the purpose of establishing a treatment plan, which implicated the different time of healing up to a complete and functional recovery. Our purpose is to explain why we suggest a conservative attitude and the necessity of proceeding with radiological screening along with an examination of the binocular eyesight.
