Significance

Amphidinolide H is a dinoflagellate metabolite with an exceptional cytotoxicity towards KB human epidermoid carcinoma cells. The closing stages of the Fürstner synthesis depicted required careful orchestration of the fragment linkage strategy and scrupulous orchestration of the protecting group regime.
