Der folgende Artikel befasst sich mit den kognitiven Defiziten bei Patienten mit einer affektiven Störung (ICD-10: F31-F33) und soll einen Überblick über den aktuellen Forschungsstand auf diesem Gebiet liefern. Dabei werden sowohl die bipolare Störung als auch die Depression sowie die einzelnen betroffenen Bereiche separat besprochen und die jeweilige zeitliche Phase und die damit verbundene Ausprägung des Krankheitsbildes berücksichtigt. In der Diskussion wird noch einmal kurz der Vergleich zur Schizophrenie aufgegriffen und Unterschiede und Parallelen angeführt.
This article should give an overview about cognitive deficits including patients suffering from an affective disorder (ICD-10: F31 - F33). As well bipolar illness as depression with their separate cognitive domains is discussed and a comparison with schizophrenia should represent the similarity of cognition impairment of affective disorders and schizophrenia.
