Orbitale Entzündung bei intraokularem malignen Melanom

Anamnese

Eine 82-jährige Patientin wurde uns mit einer zweiwöchigen Vorgeschichte von schmerzhaftem rotem Auge und erhöhtem intraokularen Druck zugewiesen. Zuvor erhielt sie in einem externen Spital bei akutem Glaukom eine periphere Iridektomie. Nachdem das klinische Bild sich trotz dieser Maßnahme mit Zeichen einer periorbitalen Entzündung und Proptosis verschlechterte, erhielt sie peroral Breitspektrum-Antibiotika (Ciprofloxacin 500 mg 2 × /Tag für eine Woche).
