Rezidivierendes fibröses Histiozytom am korneoskleralen Limbus

Zusammenfassung

Der geschilderte Fall beschreibt ein seltenes fibröses Histiozytom am korneoskleralen Limbus bei einem 10 Jahre alten Jungen. Trotz des histologisch gutartigen Erscheinungsbildes zeigte der Tumor ein stark invasives Wachtum mit Rezidivneigung, sodass eine perforierende Sklerokeratoplastik notwendig wurde. Der dargestellte Fall wird im Kontext der bisher veröffentlichten Fallberichte zu dieser Tumorentität diskutiert.

Abstract

This case report describes a rare fibrous histiocytoma at the corneoscleral limbus in a 10-year-old boy. In our patient the tumour was histologically classified as benign, however, it presented with an invasive growth pattern and recurrency, so that a penetrating sclerokeratoplasty became necessary. This case is set in the context to the existing case reports in the literature.
