Zusammenfassung
Die Lebensqualitätsforschung und Lebensqualitätsanalysen als begleitende Instrumente
des Qualitätsmanagements sind heute im Gesundheitswesen sehr weit etabliert. Der Beginn
der Etablierung der Lebensqualitätsperspektive geht auf politische, sozioökonomische,
ökologische, humanistische, ärztliche und wissenschaftliche Motive Mitte des letzten
Jahrhunderts zurück. Neben den erreichten Zielen hat der Einbezug der Lebensqualitätsperspektive
und entsprechender Instrumente allerdings in weiten Bereichen eine Funktionalisierung
und Instrumentalisierung bis hin zum Missbrauch erfahren. Für verschiedene Bereiche
im Gesundheitswesen werden Aufwand, Nutzen und Risiken der Lebensqualitätsforschung
sowie Perspektiven entwickelt.
Abstract
Today, quality of life research and analysis of quality of life in total quality management
are widely used in the area of the health-care system. In the very beginning, in the
middle of the last century, quality of life research was motivated by political, socioeconomic,
ecological, humanistic, medical and scientific objectives. Some goals in quality of
life research were reached. But quality of life research has also been instrumentalised
and misused. Input, profit and risks of quality of life research in different areas
of the health-care system as well as further perspectives are emphasised.
