One-Step Synthesis of Triazolopyridines from Carboxylic Acids

Significance
The simple and efficient one-step synthesis of triazolopyridines was described. Thus, the reaction of carboxylic acids 1 with 2-hydrazinopyridines 2 in the presence of CCl3CN, PS-PPh3 and DIPEA as a base in CH2Cl2 under microwave heating conditions gave the corresponding triazolopyridines 3 in 61-92% yield.
