Eine 82jährige Patientin mit einem Glomus-caroticum-Tumor wird vorgestellt. Pathogenese, Vorkommen, Symptomatik, Diagnostik und Therapie werden anhand der Literatur besprochen.
Summary
A 82-year-old female patient with a tumor of the carotid body is presented. With regard to other cases pathogenesis, classification, diagnostics, symptomatology and therapeutics are discussed.
