Coverage of Traumatic Chest-Wall Defect Using a Fasciocutaneous Forearm Flap: Case Report

ABSTRACT

Large chest-wall defects secondary to trauma may require innovative techniques to obtain stable wound coverage. In this case report, stable chest-wall coverage was achieved using a fasciocutaneous free flap that was dissected from the entire forearm of the amputated extremity.
