Zusammenfassung
Die vorliegende Studie evaluiert die Behandlungseffekte eines integrativen Therapiekonzepts
der Spezialstation für schizophrene Gefangene der Abteilung für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie
(APP) des Krankenhauses der Berliner Vollzugsanstalten (KBVA). Die Ergebnisse bestätigen
den positiven Einfluss des Behandlungskonzepts auf die Kontinuität der Teilnahme am
medikamentösen, sozial- und psychotherapeutischen Behandlungsangebot (Compliance).
Darüber hinaus scheint das Konzept geeignet, suizidale Tendenzen der Patienten zu
reduzieren. Es konnten keine signifikanten Behandlungseffekte bezüglich der psychopathologischen
Kriterien Symptomatik und Fremdgefährdung und globaler Kriterien belegt werden, was
teilweise auch auf eine zu kleine Stichprobe zurückzuführen sein dürfte. Die vorliegenden
Daten unterstreichen die Wichtigkeit eines multimodalen Behandlungsansatzes auch für
den Bereich der Haftpsychiatrie.
Abstract
This study evaluates the treatment outcome of an integrative treatment concept of
a specialized ward for schizophrenic custodial inmates at the Department of Psychiatry
and Psychotherapy of the Berlin Prison Hospitals. Results confirm the positive influence
of the treatment concept with regard to the patients’ compliance with the treatment
(drug, social and psychotherapeutic treatment). Moreover, the treatment seems to be
able to lower suicidal tendencies of the patients. No significant differences could
be observed with respect to psychopathological criteria like the symptom score, aggressiveness
or global criteria, which could be due to the test’s small sample size. This study
emphasizes the importance of multimodal treatment concepts, also with regard to custodial
psychiatry.
