Summary

NiTi-Instruments are suited for the instrumentation of curved root canals. In this study the newly introduced Alpha-File (Brasseler) was compared to Profile, NiTi-GT, FlexMaster and ProTaper. A good cleanless was achieved with the Alpha- and Profile-System. A complete cleaning of the canal was not achieved by any of the systems. With regard to debris removal in the apical region, Profile and Alpha-Files showed better results than the other examined systems.
