Clavicular midshaft fractures

Summary

There is some evidence to suggest that midshaft clavicular fractures can be successfully treated with either operative or nonoperative methods but that there are fewer complications associated with nonoperative techniques. Most available data come from case series, and comparative studies are needed to determine the veracity of this preliminary data.
