Lernziele

Aufgrund der hohen Anzahl verwirrender Synonyma für Nackenschmerzen ist eine

Einfache Einteilung nach Dauer und Ätiologie erforderlich.

einfache Einteilung nach Dauer (akut - subakut - chronisch) und Ätiologie (traumatisch - idiopathisch) erforderlich. Bei der Versorgung von Patienten mit Nackenschmerzen sehen sich Hausärzte einer komplexen Aufgabenstellung gegenüber, die es erfordert, unter Berücksichtigung psychosozialer und somatischer Faktoren zwischen harmlosen und abwendbar gefährlichen Verläufen (Red Flags) zu differenzieren, aber auch die Diagnostik sinnvoll zu begrenzen und eine Chronifizierung zu verhindern.

Durch die Bearbeitung des Artikels soll die Fähigkeit verbessert werden,

Nackenschmerzen nach Dauer und Ätiologie einzuteilen, die entsprechende Nomenklatur zu verwenden, die epidemiologische Situation einzuschätzen, Differenzialdiagnosen seltener Ursachen von Nackenschmerzen abzuwägen, unter der überwiegenden Mehrzahl der unkomplizierten Verläufe die gefährlichen anhand von Red Flags zu erkennen, Risikofaktoren der Chronifizierung zu identifizieren, die Indikation zur bildgebenden Diagnostik gezielt und rationell zu stellen und eine effektive aber auf das Notwendige reduzierte Therapie einzuleiten.
