Das Integrative Konzept Onkologie

Zusammenfassung

Moderne onkologische Therapie ist nur möglich, wenn ausreichende supportive Maßnahmen die unerwünschten Wirkungen von Chemotherapie und Radiotherapie auf ein tolerables Maß reduzieren.

Hämatopoetische Wachstumsfaktoren, antibiotische Prophylaxe und Therapie bei Neutropenie, antiemetische Therapie, Behandlung von Schleimhauttoxizität, optimale enterale und parenterale Ernährung, Prophylaxe spezieller Nebenwirkungen von Zytostatika, Schmerztherapie, Immunmodulatoren wie Zytokine, xenogene Peptide, Mistellektine, Hyperthermie und Antioxidanzien sind sinnvolle Ergänzungen der onkologischen Basistherapie. Voraussetzungen für ihren Einsatz sind wissenschaftliche Grundlagenuntersuchungen über Wirkungsmechanismen und die Prüfbarkeit bzw. qualifizierte klinische Prüfungen standardisierter Präparate. Ziele der Behandlung sind: Verringerung von Toxizität und damit Nebenwirkungen onkologischer Therapien, Steigerung der Lebensqualität, raschere Regeneration lebenswichtiger Systeme sowie Rezidiv- und Metastasenprophylaxe. Träger des Integrativen Konzeptes sind Selen, Leber-Milz-Peptide, Thymuspeptide, Mistellektine und Zink in einer sinnvollen Anordnung. Indikationen, Anordnung, Dosierungen, Wirkmechanismen und klinische Studien werden dargestellt.

Abstract

A modern oncologic therapy is only possible if sufficient supportive measures reduce the undesirable effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy to a tolerable degree.

Hematopoietic growth factors, antibiotic prophylaxis and therapy in the case of neutropenia, anti-emetic therapy, treatment of mucosal toxicity, optimized enteral and parenteral diet, prophylaxis of the special side-efects of cytostatic agents, pain therapy, immunomodulators like cytokines, xenogenic peptides, mistletoe lectins, hyperthermia and antioxidants are useful complements of the oncologic basic therapy.

Preconditions for their use are scientific fundamental examinations about the modes of action and qualified clinical tests or the testability of standardized preparations, respectively. The aims of the treatment are the reduction of toxicity and therefore the side-effects of oncologic therapies, increase of the quality of life, a faster regeneration of vital systems as well as relapse prophylaxis and metastasis prophylaxis. Carriers of the integrative concept are selenium, liver-spleen-peptides, thymus peptides, mistletoe lectins and zinc in a useful arrangement. Dosages, mechanisms of action and clinical studies are presented.
