ABSTRACT

Criteria used to evaluate facelift results are generally subjective. Different techniques yield a range of outcomes. The centerpiece of the technique described herein is the design of a safe, robust superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS) flap that is used as a sturdy and nourishing vehicle for skin displacement and contouring.
