Liver Transplant Interventions

I am excited to present to you this special issue of Digestive Disease Interventions focusing on liver transplant interventions. This edition encompasses the complete spectrum of liver transplant interventions and associated topics, ranging from pre- to posttransplant minimally invasive procedures. The articles featured in this issue have been contributed by a diverse group of experienced physicians and clinical researchers who are esteemed leaders in their respective fields. These review articles are meticulously crafted based on the latest evidence and the authors' wealth of clinical expertise.
The primary focus of this issue revolves around minimally invasive interventions in preparation for liver transplant and posttransplant interventions. Additionally, this issue includes an article discussing the surgical perspective in liver transplant and an illustrative article with discussion regarding arterial and biliary anastomosis posttransplant. Given the scarcity of data and the lack of first-level evidence in the literature concerning liver transplant interventions, the review articles contained within this issue aim to provide the most comprehensive and up-to-date information available.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the contributors for their outstanding work and for generously sharing their invaluable experiences. I also express my appreciation to Dr. Kapoor, the editor-in-chief, and the publisher for affording me the privilege to serve as guest editors for this special issue.
