Das Prinzip der Kaskadenfiltration (KF) – auch Doppelfiltration oder Membrandifferenzialfiltration genannt – wurde 1980 erstmals von Agishi et al. in Japan beschrieben [1]. Bei diesem Verfahren ([ Abb. 1 ]) werden 2 Filter mit unterschiedlichen Porengrößen der Hohlfasermembranen parallel verwendet.
