Significance
For a long time, the development of late-stage modifications to peptides has been an important endeavor to organic chemists. In this study the authors have successfully demonstrated a copper-catalyzed introduction of oxime ethers to peptides.

This copper catalysis is a promising method for the introduction of biological fragments into peptides. This method was successfully performed with various peptides in excellent yields.
