Viola Muriel Frymann, D. O., FAAO, FCA war und ist eine Ikone der osteopathischen Medizin, insbesondere im Bereich der Pädiatrie. Frymann hatte eigentlich nicht vorgehabt, im Bereich der Forschung zu arbeiten, doch sie erkannte, dass Forschung notwendig war, um ihre Ziele als Osteopathin und osteopathische Ärztin im Bereich der klinischen Medizin zu erreichen.
