Das ambulante Vorgehen bei vorzeitigem Blasensprung (VBS) am Termin hat den Vorteil, dass die Frauen möglichst lange in ihrer vertrauten Umgebung bleiben können, der physiologische Verlauf der Geburt gefördert und der Klinikaufenthalt verkürzt wird. Seit 2012 bietet die Frauenklinik des Universitätsspitals Basel schwangeren Frauen unter strengen Einschlusskriterien diese Möglichkeit an. Unsere Autorinnen beschreiben die praktische Umsetzung und die Erfahrungen der Frauen und des Behandlungsteams.
