Dabei spielen v.a.

Abstract

The oral cavity and the nutrition to be in convers relationship. On the one hand the diet influences the oral health on the other hand a healthy oral cavity is an important condition for the food intake. Current studies show that from an optimization of the nutrient intake the oral health benefit too. Thereby vitamin C, folic acid, vitamin D, calcium, and omega-3 fatty acids plays a crucial role. In relation to the caries prevention the application of green tea and xylitol are worthwhile.
