Summary

Typical platelet thrombi were produced in veins of dogs and rats. The administration of G 31150 reduced the incidence of thrombi in dogs but not in rats. Infusion of dog plasma to which G 31150 had been added, successfully reduced the incidence of thrombosis in rats.
