Subjektive Wahrscheinlichkeit und Diagnose

Aufgrund des probabilistischen Charakters des Symptom-Krankheitund Krankheit-Symptom-Zusammenliangs sind nur Wahrscheinlichkeitsdiagnosen möglich. Deshalb scheint die Optimierung der diagnostisch-therapeutischen Entscheidung die vernünftigste diagnostische Strategie zu sein. Die adäquate Realisierung dieser Strategie bedarf der Klärung des Wahrscheinlichkeitsbegriffs »p« in der Wahrscheinlichkeitsdiagnose. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird dieses Problem, das unmittelbar zu der induktiven Logik der Diagnoseentscheidung führt, diskutiert.

On accoimt of the probabilistic character of the symptom-diseaseand disease-symptom-correlation, only probabilistic diagnosis is possible. Therefore the optimization of the diagnostic-therapeutical decision seems to be the most reasonable diagnostic strategy. For getting an adequate realisation of this strategy, the concept of probability within the probabilistic diagnosis has to be elucidated. The paper under discussion is dealing with this problem, which directly leads to the inductive logic of the diagnosis.
