A Computer Assisted Follow-Up Register

Computer techniques have been used to provide a life-long follow-up system based on domiciliary care for patients in »at risk« groups. Patients are followed up at predetermined intervals and the system has been designed to process, screen and store clinical and biochemical follow-up data and report results to the patient’s personal doctor (general practitioner) and the hospital records department.

Mittels Computereinsatz wurde ein auf der häuslichen Versorgung basierendes lebenslängliches Nachuntersuchungssystem für Patienten bestimmter Risikogruppen entwickelt. Die Patienten werden in vorher festgelegten Intervallen nachkontrolliert. Das System ist darauf ausgerichtet, die klinischen und biochemischen Nachuntersuchungsbefunde durchzusehen und zu speichern und die Ergebnisse dem Hausarzt des jeweiligen Patienten sowie der Krankengeschichtenabteilung des zuständigen Hospitals mitzuteilen.
