Summary

A system for automated indexing based on the Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine . (SNOMED) is described. The fundamental algorithms are independent of SNOMED and can also be implemented for other target languages.

The algorithms are implemented in a set of programs, the most important problems of which are discussed.

Es wird ein System zur automatischen Indexierung auf der Basis der Systematisierten Nomenklatur der Medizin. (SNOMED) beschrieben. Die grundlegenden Algorithmen sind von SNOMED unabhängig und können auch für andere Zielsprachen eingesetzt werden. Die Algorithmen sind in einem Programmpaket implementiert, dessen wichtigste Probleme diskutiert werden.
