Neurologische Syndrome spinaler Notfälle und deren Verlauf

Zusammenfassung

Spinale Notfälle treten infolge traumatischer und nicht traumatischer Ereignisse auf. Die neurologische Symptomatik ist abhängig von der Höhe sowie Ausdehnung der Schädigung im Quer- und Längsschnitt und dem zeitlichen Verlauf. Für die gezielte Diagnostik und rasche Therapieeinleitung ist die neurologische Syndromdiagnose erforderlich. Dabei sind extraspinale Prozesse auszuschließen, die eine spinale Symptomatik vortäuschen.

Summary

Spinal emergencies are a result of traumatic and non-traumatic events. In case of damage, the neurological symptoms are dependent on the actual extent of the damage, its dimensions in transverse and longitudinal sections as well as its progress over time. Neurological syndrome diagnosis is required as this allows for targeted diagnostics and an early induction of therapy. In this context, other factors, such as extraspinal processes which feign spinal symptomatology must also be ruled out.
