Der entzündliche Aspekt bei degenerativen Gelenkerkrankungen

Zusammenfassung

Der primäre und sekundäre Entzündungsprozess bei der rheumatoiden Arthritis und bei der Arthrose ist verantwortlich für die Symptomatik, die Progression und die therapeutischen Möglichkeiten bei beiden Erkrankungen. Bei der rheumatoiden Arthritis kann die Entzündung im Frühstadium durch eine suffiziente medikamentöse Therapie aufgehalten werden, bei der Arthrose wurden die Bemügungen um ein besseres Verständnis der pathophysiologischen Vorgänge der sekundären Entzündungsreaktion intensiviert, kurative Therapieansätze fehlen jedoch nach wie vor. Bei beiden Krankheitsentitäten können lokale Therapiemaßnahmen die entzündliche Symptomatik positiv beeinflussen.

Summary

The primary and secondary inflammation process of rheumatoid arthritis and arthrosis is responsible for the symptomatology, the progress and the therapeutic options for both diseases. In the case of rheumatoid arthritis the inflammation can be stopped at an early stage by a sufficient medication. A curative therapy is still missed in the case of arthrosis, but the effort for a better comprehension of the pathophysiology was intensified. It is possible to positively influence the inflammation process in both cases of disease symptoms.
