The publisher regrets an error in the abstract in the above article in the American Journal of Perinatology, Volume 27, Number 5, 2010, page 421.

In the abstract, the last sentence with regards to peak and trough serum concentrations of daptomycin should read “Peak and trough serum concentrations of daptomycin were 27.3 and 11.6 μg/mL at day 4 as well as 22.9 and 7.9 μg/mL at day 11 after initiation of treatment, respectively” and not “Peak and trough serum concentrations of daptomycin were 22.9 and 11.6 μg/mL at day 4 as well as 27.3 and 7.9 μg/mL at day 11 after initiation of treatment, respectively”.
