Versorgung des zahnlosen Unterkiefers mit implantatgestütztem Zahnersatz

Bei der Versorgung der unbezahnten Mandibula lässt sich durch die Insertion von 2 interforaminalen Implantaten eine Prothesenstabilisierung erzielen, wobei man aus der Totalprothese eine Overdenture-Prothese konstruiert.

Durch Auswahl von Implantatzahl und entsprechendem Verbindungselement wie Steg, Kugelanker, Magnet, Teleskopkrone oder Locator kann man dem Ausmaß der Atrophie entsprechen, die Kraftübertragung kontrollieren und in gewissem Maß auch den peri-implantären Knochenabbau gering halten.

Es wird aufgezeigt, dass die interforaminale Implantatsetzung neben Strukturerhalt und Kaueffizienz auch die myodynamischen und neuromuskulären Parameter positiv beeinflusst – mit Werten, die den Zustand von Gesunden anstreben.

In the edentulous mandible, the insertion of two interforaminal implants provides anchorage which stabilizes the mandibular denture, thus creating an overdenture situation. By selecting the amount of implants and deciding on the respective attachment – bar, ball anchor, magnet, telescopic connector or locator – force transfer can be regulated and peri-implant bone loss kept to a minor degree. In addition to the prevention of ongoing atrophy and masticatory efficiency, two interforaminal implants contribute to a rise in the patients' chewing parameters and muscle activities which approximate those of dentate persons.
