Atypischer Sonografiebefund einer Partialmole mit unauffälligem Fetus: Fallbericht

Zusammenfassung

Partialmolen sind villöse Trophoblasterkrankungen, die sich sonografisch typischerweise als auffällige, zystisch veränderte Plazentastrukturen darstellen. Durch die meist gleichzeitig vorliegende fetale Triploidie mit ausgeprägten Strukturabweichungen des Fetus kann die Diagnose üblicherweise bereits im I. Trimenon mit Ultraschall gestellt werden. Der vorliegende Fall zeigt die sonografische Fehlinterpretation einer Partialmole als Plazentahämatom in Kombination mit der Rarität eines unauffällig entwickelten Fetus und der Geburt eines gesunden Kindes.

Abstract

Partial moles are villous trophoblastic lesions, typically presenting as cystic placental structures and usually in association with growth-restricted, malformed, mostly triploid, fetuses on the sonogram. Diagnosis is therefore usually established in the first trimester by ultrasound examination. We describe a case of sonographic misinterpretation of a partial mole assumed to be a placental hematoma together with a rare normal fetus followed by the delivery of a healthy child.
