Zusammenfassung

Durch die schwierigen Umstände auf psychiatrischen Akutstationen ist eine gute Pflege der Patienten für die Pflegekräfte oft sehr schwierig. Interviews mit Pflegekräften zeigten, dass sie unterschiedliche Herangehensweisen an die Patienten haben. Die einen bauen Beziehungen auf, während andere die Stationen sicher und ordentlich halten wollen. Im letztgenannten Fall besteht die Gefahr, dass die Pflegekraft bei den Patienten Misstrauen und ein Gefühl der Verlorenheit erzeugt. Pflegekräfte sollten sich dieses Risikos bewusst sein und versuchen, sich stärker der Pflege zu widmen und trotzdem Sicherheit und Ordnung auf Station aufrechtzuerhalten.
