Significance
The authors report a novel copper(I)-catalyzed allylic alkylation reaction between phosphorothioate esters and organomagnesium reagents. This reaction shows excellent α-selectivity regardless of the Grignard reagent, and the methodology has been extended to secondary allylic halide substrates.
