Zusammenfassung
Anhand von Behandlungsbeispielen werden das Erscheinungsbild, die Symptome und das
Wesen des allgemein als Strahlbeinlahmheit oder Podotrochlose bezeichneten Syndroms
aus der Erfahrung der Autorin erklärt und mit der internationalen Lehrmeinung sowie
den anerkannten anatomischen, histologischen und physiologischen Gegebenheiten im
Huf verglichen. Als erfolgreiche Behandlung des Syndroms wird die 100 %ige Wiederherstellung
der vollen Leistungsfähigkeit ohne Rückfall bezeichnet.
Summary
Based on the practice experience of the author and with case studies, the article
discusses the appearance, symptoms and nature of the disease generally referred to
as naviscular syndrome or podotrochlosis. Comparisons are drawn between the author’s
findings and international research as well as widely accepted anatomic, histological
and psychological facts on hoofs. Successful treatment of the syndrome entails a 100
per cent recovery of the entire ability of a relapse-free hoof.
