Zusammenfassung
Geschildert wird der Fall eines 10-jährigen Warmblutwallachs, der am equinen metabolischen
Syndrom erkrankt war. Obwohl eine Therapie zunächst wenig aussichtsreich schien, konnte
durch ein multimodales Therapiekonzept aus verschiedenen komplementären Behandlungsmethoden
eine Heilung erreicht werden. Nur der gleichzeitige, an die Erfordernisse der jeweiligen
Krankheitsphase angepasste Einsatz von Homöopathie, Akupunktur, Chiropraktik, Phyto-
und Physiotherapie führte in diesem scheinbar hoffnungslosen Fall zum Erfolg.
Summary
The article describes the case of a warm-blooded horse suffering from equine metabolic
syndrome. In spite of the therapy initially showing apparent loss of cause, a multimodal
therapy concept comprising of different complementary treatment methods did achieve
significant positive results. The simultaneous and appropriate application of homeopathy,
acupuncture, chiropractice, phytotherapy and physiotherapy led to the healing of the
horse.
