Abstract

Before ERCP as an invasive procedure is performed MRCP should be initiated. Indication for ERCP should rely on a preceding MRCP because of a substantial rate of complications. When Propofol is applied for sedation the S 3-guidelines of the German Society of Gastroenterology (DGVS) should be observed.
