Fallbericht: Weihrauch bei chronischer Polyarthritis

Zusammenfassung

Die Therapie einer entzündlichen rheumatischen Erkrankung mit Basistherapeutika, nicht steroidalen Antirheumatika, Kortikoiden, aber auch „Biologicals“ ist oft mit erheblichen Nebenwirkungen belastet, die Suche nach verträglichen Alternativen daher verständlich. Hier bieten sich pflanzliche Präparate an, sie sind sowohl in der symptomatischen als auch in der antientzündlichen Therapie von rheumatischen Erkrankungen weitverbreitet. Ein vielversprechender Ansatz ist die Verabreichung von Weihrauchpräparaten, wie in diesem Fallbericht gezeigt wird.
