Zusammenfassung
Ein farbloses psychisches Bild ohne neurologische Symptome hielt man jahrzehntelang für eine Charaktereigenschaft der Patientin, bis mit 55 Jahren ein rigorfreier akinetischer Symptomenkomplex mit Tremor in Erscheinung trat. Die Symptomatologie hing nach Anamnese, dem Untersuchungs- und Operationsbefund ursächlich mit einem von Jugend an wachsenden einseitigen mandarinengroßen frontomedialen Meningeom am unteren Falxrand zusammen. Die reversible Symptomatik wird als Kompressionsfolge auf das Mittelhirn mit konsekutiver Durchblutungsstörung beurteilt.
Summary
A colourless affect, without neurological symptoms was for decades assumed to be a character attribute of the patient, until the age of 55 years when she developed an akinetic symptom-complex with tremor, but with no rigidity.
In the light of the history, the investigations and the operation findings, the symptoms appeared to have a clear aetiological connexion with a unilateral, mandarin-sized, fronto-mediai meningioma on the inferior edge of the falx. It seemed likely that this had been growing since her youth.
The reversible symptoms were judged to be the result of pressure on the mid-brain, with resultant ciuculatory disturbances.
Résumé
Pendant des décennies on avait attribué un tableau psychique dénué de particularités saillantes et de symptomes neurologiques à un état caractériel chez une malade qui développa vers 55 ans un complexe akinétique avec tremblement sans raideur, symptomatologie liée selon l'anamnèse, l'examen et les constations opératoires à un méningiome frontal unilatéral de la faux gros comme une mandarine qui s'était développé depuis l'enfance. En raison de sa régression on attribua ce syndrome à des troubles vasculaires par compression du mésencéphale.
