Präoperative Angst und postoperatives Delir hängen zusammen

Die vorliegende Studie untersucht 400 herzchirurgische Patienten. Dabei wird deutlich, dass ein postoperatives Delir signifikant mit Angst und depressiven Symptomen vor dem Eingriff zusammenhängt. Das ist in Hinblick auf die negativen Outcomes von großer Relevanz. Gesundheitsfachpersonen können an entscheidender Stelle aktiv werden, um ein Delir und damit zusammenhängende Komplikationen zu verhindern.
