Auf falscher Fährte – Gluteale Tendinopathie: Pathomechanismus, klinisches Bild und Management

Die Diagnose bei lateralem Hüftschmerz und druckdolentem Trochanter lautet in der Regel „Bursitis trochanterica“. Zu Unrecht, denn stattdessen steckt hinter den Beschwerden oftmals eine gluteale Tendinopathie. Die Diagnostik gelingt durch Anamnese und spezifische Tests. In der Therapie wird auf eine gute Kontrolle von Becken und Hüfte in der Frontalebene geachtet und das laterale Stabilisierungssystem der Hüfte mit progressiven Übungen trainiert.
