Die Larynxparalyse: Formen, Ursachen, Diagnostik, Therapieoptionen und Prognose

Die Larynxparalyse kommt gehäuft bei älteren Hunden vor und tritt im Rahmen einer komplexeren neurologischen Erkrankung (GOLPP, Geriatric Onset Laryngeal Paralysis and Polyneuropathy) auf. Zusätzlich tritt die Larynxparalyse selten als hereditäre Erkrankung beim Jungtier auf oder wird durch andere Ursachen hervorgerufen. Diagnostisches Vorgehen, therapeutische Möglichkeiten, Komplikationen und Prognose werden im folgenden Artikel diskutiert.
