Zusammenfassung
Entschuldigungen haben in der Medizin einen schlechten Ruf. Dabei zeigen aufrichtige Worte des Bedauerns, dass der Arzt aufmerksam, empathisch und anspruchsvoll ist. Das verbessert nachweislich die Gesprächsatmosphäre. Haftungsrechtliche Folgen gibt es nicht.
Abstract
Apologies have a bad reputation in medicine. Sincere words of regret show that the doctor is attentive, empathetic and discerning. This demonstrably improves the atmosphere of the conversation. There are no consequences under liability law.
