Dental Monitoring in der Kieferorthopädie
Dental monitoring in orthodontics
Abstract
Traditional orthodontic treatment requires regular check-ups at the dentist's office to monitor clinical progress and make adjustments to the devices and appliances. Dental Monitoring is an innovative digital solution in the field of orthodontics that enables remote monitoring of the progress of orthodontic treatments. Using a special app and a ScanBox, patients regularly take photos or videos of their teeth, which are then sent to the dental practice via smartphone.
This article takes a closer look at the Dental Monitoring System and, in addition to the technical basics and how it works, also presents possible applications for various orthodontic treatments.
