ZUSAMMENFASSUNG

Technologische Fortschritte haben in den vergangenen Jahren eine Bandbreite an Werkzeugen zur Erstellung, Speicherung und Kommunikation medizinischer Daten hervorgebracht. In kaum einer anderen Disziplin ergeben sich dabei so viele neue Möglichkeiten wie in der Radiologie. Durch Cloud-Systeme kann die Bild- und Befundlogistik müheloser gestaltet und der Schutz von Patientendaten verbessert werden. Digitale Kommunikationslösungen haben das Potenzial, den fachlichen Austausch mit subspezialisierten Radiologinnen/Radiologen und Kliniken zeitnäher und intensiver zu gestalten sowie Formate zu Fortbildung und Falldiskussion neu zu erfinden. Software für standardisierte und strukturierte Befundberichte kann die Vollständigkeit und Reproduzierbarkeit der Kommunikation optimieren; sie erlaubt die Interaktion zwischen Bild und Berichttext. Mithilfe spezieller Software können Bildinhalte in neuer Form dargestellt und durch computergestützte Analysen ergänzt werden.

SUMMARY

Technological progress has yielded a whole range of new tools for the generation, storage and transmission of medical data in recent years. There is hardly any other area of medicine that offers as many new possibilities as radiology in this regard. Cloud-systems can facilitate the transmission of images and reports and increase the standard of security of patient data. Digital solutions for communication bear the potential to enhance the professional exchange by allowing it to be both more in-depth and near-term. They also enable new formats for advanced training and discussion of individual cases. Software for standardized and structured reporting can help improve the completeness and reproducibility of report communication; it allows the interaction between images and report texts. With the help of specialized software images can be presented in new ways and complemented by computer-assisted analyses.
