Kinder- und Jugendgynäkologie – die häufigsten Vorstellungsgründe

Die Kinder- und Jugendgynäkologie als Schnittpunkt zweier Fachbereiche stellt eine besondere Herausforderung dar und erfordert Fachwissen und Feingefühl. Vermeintlich von der „Norm“ abweichende Befunde müssen korrekt eingeschätzt werden. Hierbei ist die Fachkenntnis von anatomischen und endokrinologischen Entwicklungsschritten mit ihren physiologischen Abweichungen essenziell, um insbesondere unnötiges Pathologisieren zu vermeiden.
