Die kardiale Resynchronisationstherapie (CRT)

Die Implantation eines Rhythmusaggregates mit CRT kann eine Verbesserung der Lebensqualität für Patienten mit fortgeschrittener Herzschwäche bedeuten. Die Komplexität dieses Eingriffs verursacht jedoch oftmals enorme Strahlenbelastung für Patient und Personal. Daher sind eine moderne, hochauflösende Röntgeneinrichtung und das Fachwissen des beteiligten Personals grundlegende Voraussetzungen für einen strahlenhygienischen Ablauf.

The implantation of a rhythm device with CRT can improve the quality of life in patients with advanced heart failure. The complexity of this procedure often leads to enormous radiation exposure for patients and staff. Therefore, a modern high-resolution X-ray equipment and the expertise of the radiological-technical staff are fundamental requirements for a proper radiation process. Even after successful implantation, patients with CRT devices need a careful treatment in procedures with magnetic fields or during radiotherapie.
