Staphylococcus aureus spielt eine wichtige Rolle als Erreger postoperativer Infektionen und ca. 50% aller postoperativen Wundinfektionen sind mit der Präsenz von Staphylococcus aureus im OP bzw. OP-Gebiet während der Operation assoziiert [1].
