In einigen Fällen
Muscular diseases are both clinically and genetically a most variable group. In one
group of patients it becomes evident that cardiac muscles are involved – which is
unfortunately often overlooked in practice. Such an involvement may most adversely
affect the quality and expectancy of life. Cardiac changes may even be prominent in
some cases. This necessitates exploration of the patient's condition quite early for
any cardiac involvement. The most frequently occurring muscular diseases are listed
below which may be accompanied by cardiac involvement.
