Significance

Fluorine-containing molecules are important building blocks in medicinal chemistry. Fluorinated substrates often show different reactivity compared to their non-fluorinated analogues. Therefore, the development of new reaction conditions for fluorinated compounds is still an important challenge in synthetic chemistry. Herein, the efficient enantioselective Pd-catalyzed allylation of fluorinated allyl enol carbonates is reported.
