Significance
Cylindricines attracted considerable synthetic interest due to their challenging perhydro pyrrolo[2,1-j]quinoline framework. A new access to (±)-cyclindricine C is reported using a Michael addition-dipolar cycloaddition sequence to construct the indolizidine core.
